Accuracy, accessibility, clear interpretation
The data you possess about your clients is an invaluable source of information about their needs
and desires and the needs, desires and profiles of clients you've yet to find. Client data should
therefore form the roots of your business strategy. Properly structured, your data will provide the
information that our knowledge and experience can turn into understanding.
In making client data work for your business, we start with two questions:
Is your data accurate?
|
Are you asking the right questions of the right data?
|
This sounds obvious, but many business strategies have been flawed from the outset by relying
on bad data or, which is worse, using properly structured data and asking the wrong questions.
Developing the right structure for you data
By understanding the nature of your business and your objectives we can advise you as to
the most appropriate data structure for current and future needs. This is fundamental to
practice because, as your marketing strategy develops, new questions and directions will arise.
We therefore aim to deliver flexible data structures that can grow with your business.
It's your data
Our experience shows that data management is most effective and accurate when we are able
to hold and manage it at our offices. Naturally, our clients wish to maintain control of their data,
so we provide on-line access via secure websites with user-friendly, point-and-click interfaces,
or on CD ROM for less time-sensitive areas.
Understanding you data
We have extensive experience in both profiling and profitability analysis for business to business
and consumer, using Claritas, or using straightforward SPSS statistical tools.
Explaining the messages to your organisation
After data has been analysed, the next stage is to communicate what it reveals to other areas
of your organisation. This must be done in a way that lets people who are not data specialists
understand the data and act on it. To make this happen, we have developed visual communications
tools, including graphics and maps, that help you communicate the underlying messages clearly
and simply.
